I used to LOVE CSI: Miami.  First because of Speed, and when he was killed off, I enjoyed the character of Ryan Wolf.  However I no longer watch for several reasons.

X The Creativity is down.  For god sakes, people, choose another "Is-he-or-isn't-he-a-bad-guy" person then Ryan Wolf.  I think its been four or so finales done that way (will have to double check). They didn't seem to do it this year (although I do remember yet a promo where Ryan is taken away from the station in cuffs.)  Please let Ryan have a year that goes right for him.  Arrest Eric for once.  Or maybe Calleigh.  I don't think she's been in trouble for awhile (well, I suppose the whole shotting your boyfriend thing counts).

Also?  This whole killing half the cast thing?  Annoying with CSI.  Annoying with CSI Miami and annoying with CSI NY.  Please keep character death to a minimum, kay?

X. I stooped caring about the characters. To be honest, the only characters I actually care to watch are Ryan and Natalia (and one other guy whose name I never quite remembered due to my lessing viewership).  And while I know some of my friends enjoy this couple, I don't see any romantic chemistry with Eric and Calleigh.  This might be because I never really cared much for Eric Delko. But when i first started watching and up until they started going out, I always saw them as a brother-sister type relationship.  Like I see Sam/Daniel on SG-1, or George/Izzie on Grey's Anatomy (don't worry, that rant won't be reopened).  I. Just. Don't. See. It.

I was reading the finale recap and noticed that Ryan and Eric were rushing to a crime scene and somehow in the midst of that Ryan was forgotten and Eric got there first.  Now its probably just the recapper figuring that we will all assume Ryan got that and didn't just disappear.  I seriously hope.  Because if it isn't then someone needs to talk to the editing crew.

Now my annoyance with Miami isn't only for Miami.  I lost interest in CSI years ago, so the only CSI that I might watch next year is NY, which always seemed to manage to get good character development along side the plot (hear me Miami?  Character development.  As in the characters don't shut off during non-episode hours.  As in all the characters) However the great "OMG WHOSE DEAD!" thing seems to have struck down on NY AGAIN (please get a little more creative then "Someone will die in tonight's finale.")

Its getting to the point where the only shows on CBS I watch is NCIS/NCIS:LA & Big Bang Theory.  Accidentally on Purpose got canceled, and I was never really into the other comedies, or the other dramas.  Might watch NY and Hawaii-Five-O.  Might.  But only NCIS/NCIS makes me want to watch it so much I will be upset if I miss recording it.  If I happen to not be home for the other ones, it doesn't bother me.

So, TV writers/Producers:  Give me a show worth being upset about missing.
